Dogmatic Constitution on Divine Revelation Dei Verbum by Fr. Zepeda (2021)

$0.00

As I have warned in the page treating with the 16 documents of the Second Vatican Council, the reader will find many orthodox quotes, and texts throughout this paper. However, interpolated among these, he will find one or two heretical propositions, or recommendations against faith and morals.

Such terrible instances, even if brief, suffice to make this document noxious to the faith, in such a way that it must be rejected by all Catholics who wish to abide by the teachings of Christ, and of the Holy Catholic Church of the ages.

The phrases which contradict previous Catholic Magisterium are highlighted with an explanatory note afterwards, to help the reader get to them immediately, without having to read the whole document. However, we summarize the errors in this list:

The problems of the Dogmatic Constitution On Divine Revelation Dei Verbum, enacted during the 2nd Vatican Council:

  1. The Progressive Council Fathers made notorious omissions, in order to concede to Protestant Doctrines in the canon of Scriptures. (The list of books which form the Bible)

  2. The Fathers followed a very well-known protestant doctrine, in allowing the Blessed Eucharist to be put in the same line as Sacred Scriptures, using both as a figure of speech referring to the “Bread of Life”

  3. An evil practice is proposed, in calling for Catholics to edit Bibles in cooperation with Protestants, a practice completely at odds with the Catholic Faith and Morals.

  4. A statement against the faith is produced, when protestants are called “Christians” a practice foreign to the Catholic Church.

  5. The document puts forth two imprecise statements which will be used in future changes to destroy the faith and the liturgy:

  • That the Church has imperfect knowledge of Scripture.

  • A call is made to study the sacred liturgies of the past.
